National Association of State Head Injury Administrators (NASHIA) State of the States in Brain Injury Conference 

The National Association of State Head Injury Administrators (NASHIA) hosted their 35th annual State of the States in Brain Injury Conference in Eugene, Oregon in September. This conference brought together state leaders, brain injury advocacy organizations, partners, providers, and researchers to discuss resources, tools, best practices, trainings, and information applicable to the whole brain injury community. PCG’s subject matter experts presented at the conference on Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) and Quality Metrics. The session aimed to demystify VBP, simplify the associated components, and highlight options for creating openings to the approach through small-scale implementations that minimize risk while exploring VBP innovations. PCG’s team shared best practices and tips for successful VBP implementation.
