CMS Finalizes Exchange Guidance for 2025
In two separate releases in early April, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) finalized its annual proposed guidance for Exchanges and Qualified Health Plans (QHPs.) As in prior years, the annual guidance addresses certification standards, financial parameters, and operational and technical guidance for Exchanges, QHPs, and premium stabilization programs. Status Update: Medicaid 1115 Re-Entry Demonstration Waivers
Since the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services approved California’s Medicaid 1115 Re-Entry Demonstration Waiver in early 2023, an additional 3 states (MA, MT, and WA) have received approval for their Re-Entry Demonstration Waivers, and 19 states have submitted Re-Entry Demonstration Waivers and are awaiting approval from the agency.
