The End of the Public Health Emergency & Effect on Health Insurance Coverage

In the coming months it is anticipated that the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) will require the largest single effort to determine Medicaid eligibility for the most Medicaid enrollees in the history of the program. As states undertake this monumental undertaking, they should be mindful of steps they can take to minimize coverage losses.
