Health Policy News is pleased to share our annual fall white paper, “Looking Toward the Future: Health Policy Priorities and Actions in the First Year of the Biden Administration,” in advance of our upcoming webinar of the same title. Click the thumbnail on the right to read it.

As a companion piece to last year’s white paper, in which we examined the ten years since the passage of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), this year’s paper continues to track the major health reforms and consumer protections targeted by the Biden administration. The administration has issued Executive Orders; sought legislative changes through sweeping bills including American Rescue Plan Act and the Build Back Better Act; promulgated market rules; and made funding investments aimed at promoting access, affordability, and stabilization of both the private and public marketplaces. The paper explores the actions taken since the start of the administration to advance key healthcare priorities, as well as what may come next in those areas.

We will host our annual fall policy webinar to discuss the white paper this Thursday, November 18th, 2021, at 1:30pm EST. We look forward to discussing and engaging with you all virtually. If you have any questions or policy topics you would like to ensure we address on the webinar in advance, please send them to healthpolicynews@pcgus.com.
